That’s right… It’s the 10th annual Chicken bowl. Thanks to everyone who’s helped create 10 years of great memories! We look forward to adding more testosterone driven competition to the great legacy this year. Come all (invited) good friends, questionable athletes, and fans with heavy coats and umbrellas. Fans bring baked goods, encouragement, and refreshments to motivate us to push ourselves far beyond our healthy physical capacity. Athletes beings cleats, eye black, and borderline sportsmanship. July 24th, 2008 @ 7:00PM heading East on I-90 at milepost 248.
We were traveling east on I-90 from Seattle to Spokane in the left (inside) lane @ 80 MPH coming up alongside an 18 wheeler when it started to enter our lane. Jamie was driving, and I was in the back seat in between the boys. She swerved left to avoid a collision, and when she went to recover, she lost control.

Ethan James Coyne entered the world at 11:30 am on February 28th at 7 lbs and 4 onces and 19″ long. Jamie won the bet, but I think she had the unfair advantage of feeling the weight… I had guessed 7-5, Chelsey had 7-7, and Kay had 7-0. As her prize, we decided that Jamie gets to keep the child!
We just squeaked out of having a leap year baby! Jamie was bound and determined to have this baby as soon as she knew he was fully developed. Following the trend of our first born, we looked at 37 weeks as our due date. Especially considering Jamie’s 6 weeks of preceding bed rest. This labor was eerily similar to Bennett’s.

20 - 6 at the end of the first half. Team A brought it back to 20-20 at the beginning of the second half. A few key turnovers resulted in the heavily lopsided final outcome.

The Story - How’d it go down?
On Friday (November 24 - when the Chicken Bowl was out of the way), Jamie and I started doing everything we could to help the baby move towards delivery. We joined the shopping craze and walked around the mall all day. We got our Christmas tree, some Christmas gift ideas, and a new digital camera to start capturing Bennett’s life with right from the beginning.
